We know that life can get busy, which is why we have built an automatic system for granting access to kids for reasonable requests without needing your intervention.

  • Access to learning apps during study time: Suppose you forgot to give access to an app that the child needs for studies when you set up study time and they need it at a time when you are busy. Would they have to wait until you grant access? No. During study time, if the kids request access to apps of the category - Education, Books and Reference or Productivity, Superr automatically gives them access to the app for that day and also notifies you of it. If you grant access, then the app will be permanently added to the Study routine’s list of allowed apps. If you don’t, the access gets revoked at the end of the day! If you find that your kids are misusing this by downloading random apps from these categories from the Play Store, you can turn off by tapping on “Turn off automatic access” from this request notification.

  • Access to websites for exploration ,A quick refresher : There are two types of website rules that you can set up for a routine. The ‘allow selected websites’ setting makes it so you can add a list of websites to the allowed websites list (Superr has already added 30+ learning websites to this list during study time) and your kids will only be able to use them. All other websites will be blocked. They can however request you for access to any of the blocked websites(that aren’t 18+) and you can grant access to those websites. For

  • App Limit Self-Grant:

    • This functionality comes into play when a child is close to completing a task but hits the app usage limit. In such scenarios, the child can use the Self-Grant feature to access the app for an additional 5-10 minutes, ensuring they can finish their almost completed tasks or work.

    • To use it, the child taps on the grayed-out app icon, chooses 'Get 5 more minutes' on the block screen, and instantly receives the extra time.

  • Routine Self-Grant:

    • Designed for instances when a child wants to engage in productive activities like studying but the parents might be too busy to approve the routine change. Through this feature, requests for routines such as School, Study, or Tuition are automatically approved for a period of up to 1 hour, empowering the child to manage their study time efficiently without waiting for parental approval.

    • To use it, the child can simply to the 'Schedules' tab in the Superr Kids app, tap the '+' button, select the desired routine (Study, School, or Tuition), set the start and end times, and send the request.
