In the Superr app, 'Break-Time' refers to intervals during your child's day that aren't covered by any scheduled routine. It's the period when no specific activity, like study or sleep, is planned. During these unscheduled intervals, it's crucial to manage your child's device behaviour to maintain a balance between leisure and discipline. This is where Break-Time Rules come into play, offering three distinct modes: 'Free Time', 'Downtime', and 'Study'.
Free Time: In this mode, your child enjoys the freedom to use their device, accessing all features and apps until their designated free time limit is reached. However, even during Free Time, Superr maintains a safe environment by blocking access to unhealthy apps and websites. This ensures that while your child enjoys some digital leisure, they are still shielded from potentially harmful content.
Downtime: This setting restricts the device to essential functions, such as emergency calls, and a set of pre-approved apps, termed 'Always Allowed Apps.' It's a mode designed to minimize distractions and encourage offline activities or rest.
Study: Applying the Study rule during break times enforces the restrictions and permissions of your child's study routine. This helps maintain an environment conducive to learning, even outside scheduled study hours. Note, this is only applicable if a study routine is already in place.
