A child cannot immediately use a newly installed app due to Superr.’s safety and monitoring protocols. This is to ensure that parents have oversight and control over the apps their children access. When a child installs a new app, Superr automatically sends an alert to the parent. After receiving the alert, it's up to the parent to review the newly installed app and assess the app's content, purpose, and appropriateness for their child. Parents can either add this app to the ‘Always allowed’, ‘Always blocked’ lists or impose routine-based rules on these apps. Children can request access to these apps that may be restricted under certain routines or rules. Parents can add or remove apps to these list from the ‘App Rules’ page.

How can you explain this to them;

For Younger Children (Ages 5-8)

Hey, It’s exciting that you found a new app and I see you can't play with it right away. It’s because when you pick a new app, Superr. quickly tells me, 'Hey, there's a new app here!' This is my signal to take a peek at the app, just like how we check if a new toy is safe and fun to play with.

If it's good and fun for you,. If it's cool, I can add it to your 'Always Allowed' list. That means you can play with it anytime you like! If you're super excited about this new app but can't open it, you can send me a special request through Superr. I'll look at it quickly and decide if you can use it.

For Pre-Teens (Ages 9-12)
Hey, I understand that you are not able to use it. Let me explain to you how it works when you download a new app, Superr. tells me about it. We do this to make sure that all the apps you use are safe and right for you.

Since I haven't had a chance to check out this new app yet, Superr is waiting for me to say it's okay.If the app is really great, I can even put it on your 'Always Allowed' list so you can use it any time you want!

If you really want to use this new app but it's not letting you, you can send me a request through Superr. It's like passing me a note. Then I can take a quick look and decide if it's okay for you to use it.

For teenagers (Ages 13-17)
