Superr replaces the default Home (also called the launcher app) with Superr’s special launcher. Why?
Create a distraction-free launcher for your kids that adapts to the rules you set for each routine! Apps that aren’t allowed are greyed out and instantly blocked, making it easier for kids to focus on their task at hand!
Superr Launcher is also home to Superr Widget, a tool to make that plays a key role in helping kids remember their tasks to be done and making it a breeze to mark them complete! It is not only hard for the kids to miss them but also joyful to complete them.
There is a dynamic dock at the bottom of the home that has Superr for easy access. It also changes during bedtime and when you freeze the device, showing only the Phone app and Superr app.
In making this possible, however, there are some things that your kids might not be happy about If your kids have customised the look of their home app with icons, icon packs and widgets that they placed on their previous home will be replaced with Superr’s own home, icons, and widgets.
The good news? Your kids can make changes to it and have their favourite icons on the new home screen; however, they cannot delete the Superr widget that’s on the home page or make changes to the icons on the dock. They can customise the other screens.
How can you explain this to them?
For Younger Children (Ages 5-8)
Hey sweetie, you know how we sometimes rearrange your playroom so it's easier for you to find your favourite toys and books? Well, installing Superr on your phone is a bit like that. It might look different, and you might miss how it was before, but it's all to help you find your games and learning apps more easily. Just like your playroom, you can still make your phone fun by adding your favourite colours and pictures to it. And there's this special magic part that helps you remember all the fun things you need to do! Think of it as your phone becoming a smart helper, guiding you to play and learn without getting lost in too many distractions.
For Pre-Teens (Ages 9–12)
Hey, I know you like setting up your phone in a certain way, and seeing it change might be annoying. But think of Superr as a cool update. It's like your phone is getting smarter, helping you focus on what you're doing, whether it's schoolwork or just having fun. It sorts your apps, so the ones you need are always easy to find, kind of like how a good backpack organises your school stuff. You can still personalise your phone to make it feel like yours, but now it's also set up to help you stay on track with your activities. It's all about making your phone a tool that works for you, helping you grow and achieve your goals without getting sidetracked.
For Teenagers (Ages 13–17)
I get it; changing how your phone looks and works can feel a bit invasive, and you might not be thrilled about it. But let's give Superr a chance. It's designed to make your phone a more powerful ally in managing your day and staying focused on what's important to you. Yes, it changes your home screen, but you still have room to make it feel personal. The key here is balance—having a setup that reflects your style while also creating an environment that minimises distractions and maximises productivity. Think of it as optimising your digital space to align with your ambitions and lifestyle. It's not just about rules or restrictions; it's about using technology as a stepping stone to your growth and success.
