When you set up Superr on your child’s device, it automatically identifies and blocks apps that are not age-appropriate. This is based on the age you provide for your child, ensuring they only have access to suitable content. You have the flexibility to customise which apps to block or allow. You can review the list of installed apps on your child’s device and decide which ones should be accessible
Superr. integrates app blocking with daily routines. For example, during study or sleep routines, you can configure Superr to block access to games and social media apps, minimising distractions and promoting focus or rest.
Your child won’t be receiving any notifications from these blocked apps. If you want your child to receive notifications from certain apps during specific routines, you can modify the routine settings. Allow the apps during certain times of the day when it's appropriate for your child to engage with them.
If these apps are important for your child’s development or interest, consider adding them to the 'Encouraged Apps' list in Superr. This way, your child can receive notifications and use these apps for set periods, contributing to a balanced screen time.
How can you explain this to them;
For Younger children (Ages 5-8)
Hey little buddy! I hear you're wondering why you're not hearing from your favourite apps right now. Let's think of it like this: Your apps are like your toys that make noise. Sometimes, like when we're eating dinner, doing homework, or getting ready for bed, we put these toys on 'quiet mode.' This means they won’t make noise for a little while, so you can do other important things. Some toys are not really good for you; they are too noisy, these ones will bring no joy to you in the long run and can mess up your little mind.
Remember, it's good to have quiet times so you can do lots of different things. And when it’s time to play with your noisy toys (or hear from your apps), you'll have even more fun!
For Pre - teens(9-13)
Hey there! I understand you're wondering why you're not getting notifications from some of your favourite apps. Remember when we set up Superr for you we have decided on some apps that might not be good for you. We have blocked those apps in order to keep your mind safe. And some apps can be highly distractive during your study time and other important routines. Superr. has eliminated these apps during these routines in order to provide you with a productive environment to bring out the best in you.
But don’t worry this is negotiable if you feel any of these apps is important for your classwork etc, let me know about that we can discuss about that as well.
For Teenagers (Ages 13-17)

Superr helps by blocking these apps, allowing you to concentrate on your studies, hobbies, and other important activities. You can get back to these apps once you are done with those routines Plus, it's super important to stay away from apps and content that aren't suitable for your age. That's why Superr also blocks unhealthy or age-inappropriate apps and websites. for you, keeping your online experience safe and positive. But if you need any of these apps for your classwork or something important, we can discuss that and negotiate the usage of these apps for you.
Remember, the goal is to help you use technology in a way that's healthy and constructive. It's all about finding the right balance so you can enjoy your online time and also excel in other areas of your life.
