How do I enable the accessibility permission when it crashes continuously?
How do I enable the accessibility permission when it crashes continuously?
Updated over a week ago

Sometimes accessibility permission might crash for some known or unknown reasons. Immediately, the accessibility permission screen would pop up and instruct you on how to enable the permission again. Even though the accessibility permission seems to be enabled, even after following the instructions, you might get led back to the permission screen once again.

In some cases, the status under Superr would show as On, but when trying to return to the home screen, it shows the Accessibility permission screen. In other cases, upon attempting to enable it again, you might see a message below the Superr option on the accessibility page, like the one below:

In this case, if you tap on the Superr option, you will see Superr as enabled. Don’t let it confuse you. Turn off the switch provided for accessibility for Superr on the page and enable it again. This would fix the problem regarding accessibility not being enabled for Superr on the device.

If you still see the accessibility permission screen after following this method, a mode that limits background activity could be affecting the Superr app, or you may have forgotten to enable the permission necessary for the app to run in the background when setting up the permissions. If it’s the former, follow the steps mentioned to disable the mode given in it.

If it’s the latter, check if the following permission for the Superr app is enabled or not (device-wise):

For Xiaomi devices:

If the autostart permission gets somehow disabled, its permission screen will appear. Enabling this and enabling accessibility permission would solve this issue. However, it would be rare that the autostart permission would get disabled. Even if the autostart option is accessed manually on the device, you will be greeted with the Superr PIN authentication screen, and you will not be able to disable it without entering the right PIN.

For OPPO devices:

If the Run in background option gets somehow disabled, its permission screen will appear. Enabling this and enabling accessibility permission would solve this issue. However, it would be rare that this permission would get disabled. Even if the ‘Run in background’ option is accessed manually from the app info screen on the device, you will be greeted with the Superr PIN authentication screen, and one would not be able to disable it without entering the right PIN.

If the issue persists, then do not hesitate to contact support immediately for assistance. If possible, it would be helpful for us if you could send the DB dump. Here’s how you could do it:

  • Tap the settings icon on the top right corner of the Superr app home screen.

  • Tap on ‘Generate DB Dump for Support’.

  • Enter the issue in the text box in the popup that appeared.

  • Select the number of days based on the time since the issue occurred.

  • Tap the ‘Send’ button.

  • Ensure that the ‘Database dump sent successfully’ message appears.
